NRA-PVF Endorses Donald Lehe for Re-Election in Indiana's 15th House District
Friday, April 23, 2010
Fairfax, Va. -- The National Rifle Association Political Victory
Fund (NRA-PVF) is pleased to endorse State Representative Donald
Lehe (R-15) for re-election in Indiana's Republican Primary on May
4.
"The NRA is synonymous with freedom, and Hoosiers in the 15th
House District have a solid friend in Don Lehe," said Chris W. Cox,
chairman of NRA-PVF. "We are pleased to endorse Don, because we
know he will continue to fight for and protect the Second Amendment
for all law-abiding Hoosiers."
During his tenure in the General Assembly, Don Lehe has
maintained a rock-solid pro-Second Amendment record, both in
Indiana and around the country. In 2009, Representative Lehe joined
a pro-gun amicus brief filed with the United States Supreme Court
to support overturning Chicago's gun ban in McDonald v. Chicago.
Most recently, Rep. Lehe supported closing access to Indiana's
concealed carry permit database, preventing local Indiana
governments from confiscating firearms from law-abiding citizens
during states of emergency and enacting parking lot protections for
gun-owning Hoosier employees.
Representative Donald Lehe's steadfast support for individual
gun ownership rights earned him an "A" rating and endorsement by
NRA-PVF.
"It's up to gun owners to vote for freedom in the May 4th
primary," continued Cox. "Hoosiers value their firearm freedoms,
and Don Lehe is the right person to represent them."
Chris W. Cox is NRA's chief lobbyist. He also serves as chairman
of NRA-PVF. The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund
is responsible for political candidate rankings. These are based on
candidate voting records, public statements and responses to
NRA-PVF questionnaires.
