NRA-PVF Endorses Ed Martin for U.S. House of Representatives in Missouri's 3rd Congressional District
Tuesday, September 07, 2010
Fairfax, Va. - The National Rifle Association Political Victory
Fund (NRA-PVF) is endorsing Ed Martin for election to the U.S.
House of Representatives for District 3 in Missouri this
November.
"The NRA-PVF is endorsing Ed Martin because we know he will be a
staunch defender of the Second Amendment freedoms of law-abiding
gun owners, hunters and sportsmen in Missouri and across America,"
said Chris W. Cox, chairman of NRA-PVF.
Ed Martin's commitment to preserving the Second Amendment has
earned him an "AQ" rating and the endorsement of NRA-PVF.
Martin supports national right-to-carry reciprocity and efforts
to reform the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
He also opposes reenacting the Clinton gun and magazine ban and
believes sportsmen should have access to federally-owned or
administered lands for hunting, fishing, trapping and recreational
shooting.
"Ed Martin will be a strong voice in fighting ongoing efforts by
anti-gun politicians to dismantle the Second Amendment," Cox
concluded. "We ask all Missouri gun-owners and hunters to elect Ed
Martin to the U.S. House on November 2nd."
Chris W. Cox is NRA's chief lobbyist. He also serves as chairman
of NRA-PVF. The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund
is responsible for political candidate rankings. These are based on
candidate voting records, public statements and responses to
NRA-PVF questionnaires.
