NRA-PVF Endorses John Boozman for U.S. Senate
Friday, September 24, 2010
Fairfax, Va. - Today the National Rifle Association Political
Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is announcing its endorsement of John
Boozman for election to the U.S. Senate this November.
"The NRA-PVF is proud to endorse John Boozman because he is
a staunch defender of the Second Amendment freedoms of law-abiding
gun owners, hunters and sportsmen in Arkansas," said Chris W. Cox,
chairman of NRA-PVF. "Because of his solid and consistent
pro-gun support, John Boozman has earned an 'A' rating
and endorsement from the NRA-PVF."
Rep. Boozman has demonstrated a proven commitment to Second
Amendment rights by cosponsoring National Right-to-Carry
Reciprocity legislation and authoring the Secure Access to Firearms
Enhancement Act. He voted for the Protection of Lawful Commerce in
Arms Act that prevents attempts to bankrupt the American gun
industry through bogus lawsuits and to prohibit gun confiscation
during states of emergency. He also voted to restore Second
Amendment freedoms in our nation's capital through the Second
Amendment Enforcement Act and voted in favor of allowing commercial
airline pilots to be armed in the cockpit. Finally, Boozman voted
last year to allow concealed carry permit holders to carry and
transport firearms for self-defense in national parks and wildlife
refuges.
"On November 2nd, I urge all Arkansas NRA members and
gun owners to vote John Boozman for U.S. Senate," Cox
concluded.
