NRA-PVF Endorses Nels Swandal for Montana Supreme Court Justice
Friday, October 15, 2010
Fairfax, Va.-- The National Rifle Association Political Victory
Fund (NRA-PVF) is endorsing Nels Swandal for election to the
Montana Supreme Court this November.
"The NRA-PVF is endorsing Nels Swandal because he is a
strong believer in the Second Amendment and a defender of the
freedoms of law-abiding gun owners, hunters and sportsmen in
Montana," said Chris W. Cox, chairman of NRA-PVF.
As a judge in the 6th District Court of Montana,
Swandal has demonstrated his commitment to our Second
Amendment rights by strongly supporting the U.S. Supreme
Court's historic Heller and McDonald
decisions.
"With 15 years of judicial experience, Nels Swandal will
strictly interpret the Constitution to protect individual freedom
and liberty. That's why he has received an
endorsement from the NRA-PVF," Cox concluded. "We ask all gun
owners and hunters in Montana to vote Nels Swandal for Montana
Supreme Court Justice on November 2."
Chris W. Cox is NRA's chief lobbyist. He also serves as chairman
of NRA-PVF. The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund
is responsible for political candidate rankings. These are based on
candidate voting records, public statements and responses to
NRA-PVF questionnaires.
