Fairfax, Va. – The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is pleased to announce its endorsement of Stephen Fincher for U.S. House of Representatives in Tennessee’s 8th District in the August 2nd primary election.

"Stephen Fincher has brought his life-long support of the Second Amendment to Congress since his election in 2010," said Chris W. Cox, chairman of NRA-PVF. "He has earned an "A" rating and endorsement from the NRA-PVF."

Notably, Fincher cosponsored and voted for H.R. 822, The National Right to Carry Reciprocity Act. This bill would give law-abiding Americans increased consistency in Right to Carry laws throughout the country. H.R. 822 would ensure that law-abiding Americans with valid concealed handgun permits would be able to carry a concealed handgun in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry.

“Tennessee gun owners and sportsmen can count on Stephen Fincher to strongly support our Right to Keep and Bear Arms. We encourage everyone in Tennessee’s 8th District to vote Stephen Fincher for U.S. House of Representatives in the August 2nd primary election,” concluded Cox.

Chris W. Cox is NRA's chief lobbyist. He also serves as chairman of NRA-PVF. The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund is responsible for political candidate ratings and endorsements. These are based on candidate voting records, public statements and responses to NRA-PVF questionnaires.
