The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Dana Rohrabacher for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 48^th Congressional District of California. Dana has a proven pro-Second Amendment record and is committed to protecting our right to self-defense!

For the following reasons, Dana Rohrabacher has received our endorsement and “A” rating:

• Supports Right-to-Carry – Dana cosponsored and voted for the strongest Concealed Carry Reciprocity legislation ever to come before the U.S. Congress, which ensures that the nearly 20 million law-abiding Americans who can carry a concealed firearm in their home state are able to do so in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry.
• Opposes the Schumer/Pelosi/Bloomberg Gun Control Agenda – Dana strongly opposes the Schumer/Pelosi/Bloomberg agenda of banning guns, ammunition, magazines, and creating a so-called “universal” background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms which, according to the Obama Justice Department, is only enforceable through federal firearms registration.
• Opposes Operation Choke Point – Dana voted for legislation to end an abusive Obama-era program, known as Operation Choke Point, in which the Department of Justice intimidates banks into refusing or severing financial services to legally-operated ammunition and firearms dealers. 
• Supports America’s Hunting Heritage – Dana voted for the Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreation Enhancement Act, a bill that would benefit sportsmen throughout California and the country.
• Opposes Backdoor Gun Ban – Dana voted for legislation to strike down an Obama-era regulation that would have stripped Social Security recipients of their Second Amendment rights without due process.
• Supports Veterans’ Second Amendment Rights – Dana voted for legislation that would protect veterans’ Second Amendment rights.
• Opposes the U.N. Gun Ban Treaty –Dana opposes any international treaty by the United Nations or any other global organization that would impose restrictions on American gun owners. He signed a letter opposing the Obama administration's signing of the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.
• Opposes Semi-auto Ban –Dana opposes any ban on commonly owned semi-automatic firearms used for hunting, recreational shooting and self-defense.
• Supports Lawful Transport of Firearms and Ammunition – Dana voted for legislation that would uphold protections for the interstate transportation of firearms and ammunition.

Rohrabacher’s opponent, Harley Rouda, has received an “F” rating from the NRA. A vote for Harley Rouda is a vote to put Nancy Pelosi in control of Congress.
