For the following reasons, Carol Miller has earned our endorsement and “A” rating:

• Supports Right-to-Carry: Supports the strongest Concealed Carry Reciprocity legislation ever to come before the U.S. Congress, which would ensure that the nearly 20 million law-abiding Americans who can carry a concealed firearm in their home state are able to do so in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry.
• Supports Veterans’ Second Amendment Rights: Supports legislation that would protect veterans’ Second Amendment rights.
• Strong Defender of the Second Amendment: As an “A” rated state legislator in West Virginia, she consistently voted for legislation to protect the Second Amendment and against gun control.    
• Opposes Government Blacklists: Opposes legislation denying persons on secret government lists their Second Amendment right to purchase or own a firearm without due process.
• Opposes Criminalizing Private Firearm Transfers: Opposes the Pelosi/Schumer/Bloomberg so-called “universal” background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms which, according to the Obama Justice Department, is only enforceable through federal firearms registration.
• Opposes Semi-auto Ban: Opposes any ban on commonly owned semi-automatic firearms used for hunting, recreational shooting and self-defense.
• Supports America’s Hunting Heritage: Supports legislation that would expand opportunities for sportsmen throughout West Virginia and the country.

Miller’s opponent, Richard Ojeda, has received a “?” rating from NRA. A vote for Richard Ojeda is a vote to put Nancy Pelosi in control of Congress.
