The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Cresent Hardy for U.S. House of Representatives in Nevada.  Cresent has a proven pro-Second Amendment record and is committed to protecting your right to self-defense! 

• Supports Right-to-Carry: Cosponsored Right-to-Carry Reciprocity legislation, which would ensure that law-abiding Americans with the legal right to carry concealed would be able to carry their firearm for self-defense in any other state.

• Opposes Criminalizing Private Transfers: Opposes the Obama/Clinton/Bloomberg “universal” background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms which, according to the Justice Department, is only enforceable through federal firearms registration.

• Supports America’s Hunting Heritage: Voted for the Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreation Enhancement (SHARE) Act, a bill that would benefit sportsmen throughout Nevada and the country.

• Opposes Backdoor Gun Ban: Cosponsored the Social Security Beneficiary 2nd Amendment Rights Protection Act, legislation that would protect the Second Amendment rights of millions of law-abiding citizens from bureaucratic abuse by the Obama Administration.

• Opposes Operation Choke Point: Voted for legislation that prohibits the Obama Administration from executing an abusive practice, known as Operation Choke Point, in which the Department of Justice intimidates banks into refusing or severing financial services to legally operated ammunition and firearms dealers.

• Opposes Semi-Auto Ban: Opposes any ban on commonly owned semi-automatic firearms used for hunting, recreations shooting, and self-defense.

• Opposes a Federal Gun Database: Opposes ATF circumventing the will of Congress by centralizing records of thousands of Americans’ long gun purchases.

In contrast, his opponent, Ruben Kihuen, has received an “F” rating from NRA-PVF.  He opposes your Second Amendment rights and supports the Obama/Clinton/Bloomberg gun control agenda.
