The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Tom Garrett for U.S. House of Representatives in Virginia’s 5^th Congressional District. Tom has a proven pro-Second Amendment record and is committed to protecting your right to self-defense!

• Supports Right-to-Carry: Supports Right-to-Carry reciprocity legislation, which would ensure that law-abiding Americans with valid concealed handgun permits would be able to carry a concealed handgun in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry. Tom also sponsored legislation to provide added protections for concealed carry permit holders in Virginia.
• Opposes Gun Control: Strongly opposes the Obama/Bloomberg/Clinton agenda of banning guns, ammunition, magazines, and creating a so-called "universal" background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms which, according to the Justice Department, is only enforceable through federal gun registration.
• Opposes Government Blacklists: Opposes denying persons on secret government lists their Second Amendment right to purchase or own a firearm without due process.
• Opposes Semi-auto Ban: Opposes any ban on commonly owned semi-automatic firearms used for hunting, recreational shooting and self-defense.
• Supports America's Hunting Heritage: Voted for a law that ensures private landowners, as well as family members and friends, can hunt on private property on Sundays in Virginia; the law also allows Sunday waterfowl hunting on public waters. 

In contrast, his opponent, Jane Dittmar, has received an “F” rating from NRA-PVF. She opposes your Second Amendment rights and supports the Obama/Bloomberg/Clinton gun control agenda. 

Tom Garrett is the only candidate in this race who has stood strong against the Obama/Bloomberg/Clinton gun control agenda. That’s why it’s important for you to vote Tom Garrett on Tuesday, November 8^th!
