The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Troy Balderson for U.S. House of Representatives in the August 7^th, 2018, Special Election in the 12^th Congressional District of Ohio. Troy has a proven pro-Second Amendment record and is committed to protecting your gun rights!

• Supports Right-to-Carry: Voted to expand protections for concealed handgun license holders in Ohio. Troy also supports Right-to-Carry reciprocity legislation, which would ensure that the nearly 20 million law-abiding Americans who can carry a concealed firearm in their home state are able to do so in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry.
• Supports the Hearing Protection Act: Supports legislation that would remove the excessive government red tape and onerous $200 transfer tax that accompanies the purchase of firearm suppressors. Troy also voted to allow the use of firearm suppressors while hunting in Ohio.
• Opposes Semi-auto Ban: Opposes any ban on commonly owned semi-automatic firearms used for hunting, recreational shooting, and self-defense.
• Opposes Government Blacklists: Opposes legislation denying persons on secret government lists their Second Amendment right to purchase or own a firearm without due process.
• Supports Gun Manufacturers and Dealers: Supports the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, a law that prevents the American gun industry from being sued into bankruptcy through frivolous lawsuits.
• Opposes “Universal” Background Checks: Opposes the Pelosi/Schumer/Bloomberg so-called “universal” background check system that could criminalize the private transfer of firearms which, according to the Obama Justice Department, is only enforceable through federal firearms registration. 

In contrast, his opponent, Danny O'Connor, has received an “F” rating from NRA-PVF. He opposes your Second Amendment rights and supports the Pelosi/Schumer/Bloomberg gun control agenda.
