The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Don Young to represent Alaska in the U.S. House of Representatives. Don is a stalwart defender of the Second Amendment and has earned your vote by protecting your fundamental right to self-defense from those who attempt to eradicate it!

For the following reasons, Don Young has received our endorsement and “A+” rating:

• Supports Right-to-Carry – Voted for the strongest Concealed Carry Reciprocity legislation ever to come before the U.S. Congress, because we are all safer when the nearly 20 million law-abiding Americans who can carry a concealed firearm in their home state are able to do so in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry.
• Supports Alaskan Wildlife Management – Sponsored and voted for legislation to protect Alaskan sovereignty and overturn an Obama-era rule that federalized wildlife management.
• Opposes Criminalizing Private Transfers – Voted against the so-called “universal” background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms, which is only enforceable through federal firearms registration.
• Opposes Government Bans and Confiscation – Strongly opposes the Pelosi/Biden/Bloomberg plan to ban lawfully-owned semi-automatic firearms, magazines and ammunition commonly used for hunting, recreational shooting and self-defense.
• Supports Veterans’ Second Amendment Rights – Voted for legislation that would protect veterans’ Second Amendment rights.
• Opposes Backdoor Gun Ban – Voted to repeal an Obama-era scheme that forced Social Security recipients to choose between their benefits and their Second Amendment right to possess a firearm.
• Supports America’s Hunting Heritage – Voted to expand access for hunting and shooting, benefitting sportsmen throughout Alaska and the country.  
• Supports Manufacturers and Dealers – Voted for legislation that prevents the American gun industry from being sued into bankruptcy through predatory lawsuits.
• Opposes Gun Confiscation – Voted to prohibit gun confiscation during states of emergency, as happened after Hurricane Katrina.

In contrast, Don’s opponent, Alyse Galvin, cannot be trusted to defend your right to self-defense. She has received a “D” rating from NRA-PVF for supporting restrictive gun control legislation. A vote for Galvin is a vote to keep anti-gun extremist Nancy Pelosi in control of Congress!
