The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Kevin Brady for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 8^th Congressional District of Texas. Kevin is a staunch defender of the Second Amendment and has earned your vote by protecting your fundamental right to self-defense from those who attempt to eradicate it.

For the following reasons, Kevin Brady has received our endorsement and “A” rating:

• Supports Right-to-Carry – Voted for the strongest Concealed Carry Reciprocity legislation ever to come before the U.S. Congress, which ensures that the nearly 20 million law-abiding Americans who can carry a concealed firearm in their home state are able to do so in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry. 
• Opposes Criminalizing Private Transfers – Voted against the so-called “universal” background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms, which is only enforceable through federal firearms registration.
• Supports Veterans’ Second Amendment Rights – Voted for legislation that would protect veterans’ Second Amendment rights.
• Opposes Government Bans and Confiscation – Opposes the Pelosi/Biden/Bloomberg plan to ban lawfully-owned semi-automatic firearms, magazines and ammunition commonly used for self-defense.
• Supports America’s Hunting Heritage – Voted to expand access for hunting and shooting, benefitting sportsmen throughout Texas and the country.
• Opposes Backdoor Gun Ban – Voted to repeal an Obama-era scheme that forced Social Security recipients to choose between their benefits and their Second Amendment right to possess a firearm.
• Supports Manufacturers and Dealers – Voted for legislation that prevents the American gun industry from being sued into bankruptcy through predatory lawsuits.
• Opposes Gun Confiscation – Voted to prohibit gun confiscation during states of emergency, as happened after Hurricane Katrina.

In contrast, Kevin’s opponent, Elizabeth Hernandez, has received the worst possible rating, an “F”, from NRA-PVF for her staunch support of fanatical gun control. A vote for Hernandez is a vote to annihilate the Second Amendment and eradicate your right to self-defense!
