The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Michael Cloud for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 27^th Congressional District of Texas. Michael is a staunch defender of the Second Amendment and has earned your vote by protecting your fundamental right to self-defense from those who attempt to eradicate it.

For the following reasons, Michael Cloud has received our endorsement and “A” rating:

• Supports Right-to-Carry – Cosponsored Concealed Carry Reciprocity legislation, because we are all safer when the nearly 20 million law-abiding Americans who can carry a concealed firearm in their home state are able to do so in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry.
• Opposes Criminalizing Private Transfers – Voted against the so-called “universal” background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms, which is only enforceable through federal firearms registration.
• Supports Veterans’ Second Amendment Rights – Supports legislation that would protect veterans’ Second Amendment rights.
• Opposes Government Bans and Confiscation – Opposes the Pelosi/Biden/Bloomberg plan to ban lawfully-owned semi-automatic firearms, magazines and ammunition commonly used for self-defense.
• Supports America’s Hunting Heritage – Supports expanding access for hunting and shooting, benefitting sportsmen throughout Texas and the country.

In contrast, Michael’s opponent, Ricardo De La Fuente, has received a “?” rating from NRA-PVF for his refusal to state his positon on Second Amendment issues. A rating of "?" often indicates indifference, if not outright hostility, to gun owners' and sportsmen's rights. A vote for Ricardo De La Fuente is a vote to keep anti-gun extremist Nancy Pelosi in control of Congress!
