The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Nick Freitas for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 7th Congressional District of Virginia. Nick is a strong defender of the Second Amendment and will protect your fundamental right to self-defense from those who attempt to eradicate it.

For the following reasons, Nick Freitas has received our endorsement and “A+” rating:

• Supports Right-to-Carry – Led the fight to expand self-defense protections for law-abiding gun owners in Virginia. He voted for Constitutional Carry legislation and he also supports Right-to-Carry Reciprocity legislation, which would ensure that the nearly 20 million law-abiding Americans who can carry a concealed firearm in their home state are able to do so in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry.
• Supports Veterans’ Second Amendment Rights – Supports legislation that would protect veterans’ Second Amendment rights. 
• Opposes Government Bans and Confiscation – Strongly opposes the Pelosi/Biden/Bloomberg plan to ban lawfully-owned semi-automatic firearms, magazines and ammunition commonly used for self-defense.
• Opposes Criminalizing Private Firearm Transfers – Opposes the Pelosi/Biden/Bloomberg so-called “universal” background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms, which is only enforceable through federal firearms registration.
• Supports America’s Hunting Heritage – Supports legislation that would benefit sportsmen throughout Virginia and the country.
• Opposes Government Blacklists – Opposes legislation denying persons on secret government lists their Second Amendment right to purchase or own a firearm without due process.

In contrast, Nick’s opponent, Abigail Spanberger, has received the worst possible rating, an “F”, from NRA-PVF for her staunch support for fanatical gun control. A vote for Spanberger is a vote to keep anti-gun extremists in control of Congress!
