Fairfax, VA - The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) announces its endorsement of State Senator Roy Dyson for re-election in Maryland Senate District 29 on November 7, 2006.
Randy Kozuch, NRA Director of State and Local Affairs, stated, "Serving three terms in the Maryland State Senate, Roy Dyson has proven his dedication to Maryland gun owners and sportsmen with his strong pro-Second Amendment record."
Senator Dyson sponsored Maryland's Castle Doctrine bill and co-sponsored SB 907, the NRA-backed Range Protection bill designed to protect Maryland's well-established shooting ranges from frivolous noise lawsuits aimed at shutting them down.
Because of his steadfast support of the Second Amendment, Senator Dyson received an "A+" rating from NRA-PVF, the highest possible grade awarded to candidates.
"Sportsmen and gun owners in Maryland trust Sen. Dyson, and they know he will support and defend their Second Amendment rights," Kozuch continued. "We urge all NRA members and gun owners in Maryland to vote for Roy Dyson this November 7."
