Pearl Harbor day for the gun industry was the day that New Orleans Mayor Marc Morial filed his lawsuit, demonstrating to the industry that its scrupulous compliance with extensive statutes and regulations was worth nothing to anti-gun politicians. Morial and his fellow lawsuit-abusing mayors awakened the sleeping giant. Because of these mayors, George Bush is president.
