FAIRFAX, VA-The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is endorsing Congressman Gresham Barrett for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives in the third congressional district of South Carolina.
"Congressman Barrett has consistently supported the constitutional rights of law-abiding gun owners, hunters and sportsmen, and his congressional vote record confirms his strong commitment to the Second Amendment and to our country's venerable hunting heritage," said Chris W. Cox, Chairman of NRA-PVF. "His steadfast pro-gun support has earned him an 'A' rating and the endorsement of the NRA-PVF."
Rep. Barrett supported the effort to repeal D.C.'s draconian gun ban, and signed the bipartisan Congressional amicus brief in the historic Heller case arguing that the Second Amendment protects our individual right to keep and bear arms. Rep. Barrett also supported the BATFE Reform bill and voted for legislation to prohibit gun confiscation during states of emergency.
