NRA - PVF Endorses Steve Austria for U.S. House of Representatives in Ohio's 7th District

Wednesday, October 8, 2008

Fairfax, VA-Ohio State Senator Steve Austria, running for election to the U.S. House of Representatives, has received the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF)'s endorsement for Ohio's seventh congressional district.

"Senator Steve Austria is a loyal friend to gun owners," said Chris W. Cox, Chairman of NRA-PVF. "On behalf of NRA members in the great state of Ohio, the NRA Political Victory Fund is proud to endorse state senator Steve Austria for the U.S. House of Representatives."

During his tenure in the Ohio state legislature, Steve Austria demonstrated a proven commitment to gun owners and sportsmen through his commitment to seeing Ohio's concealed carry legislation passed into law, as well as his votes to stop bogus lawsuits from bankrupting the lawful American firearms industry.

Senator Austria's solidly pro-gun voting record has earned him an "A" rating and endorsement from NRA-PVF.

Cox concluded, "The choice is clear. Senator Austria's strong support for the Second Amendment has earned him the trust and support of Ohio NRA members. We encourage our members and fellow hunters and gun owners to vote Steve Austria for Congress on November 4th."
