“We couldn’t find a single example of someone needing more than 15 rounds to defend their home...” - John Hickenlooper
YOU CAN'T TRUST JOHN HICKENLOOPER!
JOHN HICKENLOOPER is “F” rated by NRA-PVF
Supports Magazine Ban Hickenlooper signed into law a standard-capacity magazine ban in Colorado, greatly diminishing the ability for self-defense. He now wants to implement the same radical ban across the country.
Supports Criminalizing Private Firearm Transfers Hickenlooper signed into law a government-mandated background check for the private transfer of any firearm in Colorado. He now wants to implement this so-called “universal” background check scheme nationwide, which is only enforceable through federal firearms registration.
Supports Registration Hickenlooper supports the creation of a firearm owner registry and would require law-abiding Americans to ask for government permission before exercising their constitutional right to keep and bear arms.
Supports Red Flag Laws Hickenlooper supports unconstitutional Red Flag laws that would strip Second Amendment rights of individuals by confiscating firearms without due process.
Supports Semi-Auto Ban Hickenlooper supports a ban on commonly owned firearms used for hunting, recreational shooting and self-defense.
Opposes Right-to-Carry Hickenlooper opposes Concealed Carry Reciprocity legislation, which would ensure that the nearly 20 million law-abiding Americans who can carry a concealed firearm in their home state are able to do so in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry.
Supports Government Blacklists Hickenlooper supports legislation that would deny persons on secret government lists their Second Amendment right to purchase or own a firearm without due process.
Opposes Manufacturers and Dealers Hickenlooper opposes legislation that prevents the American gun industry from being sued into bankruptcy through frivolous lawsuits.
Endorsed by Radical Gun Control Groups Hickenlooper has proudly accepted the endorsements of extreme national gun control groups that want to dismantle our constitutional freedoms and right to self-defense.
Vote Freedom First. Vote Cory Gardner for U.S. Senate!
“Cory Gardner has fought to protect America’s outdoor heritage, as well as our individual right of self-defense. Because Cory respects the fundamental freedom of every law-abiding gun owner in Colorado, he has earned your vote on Nov. 3rd.” — Jason Ouimet, NRA-PVF Chairman
CORY GARDNER WILL DEFEND YOUR SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS!

Opposes Semi-Auto Ban Gardner strongly opposes Senator Dianne Feinstein’s failed semi-auto ban that would ban commonly owned semi-automatic firearms used for hunting, recreational shooting and self-defense.
Opposes Criminalizing Private Transfers Gardner voted against the Schumer/Biden/Bloomberg so-called “universal” background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms, which is only enforceable through federal firearms registration.
Opposes Government Blacklists Gardner voted against legislation denying persons on secret government lists their Second Amendment right to purchase or own a firearm without due process.
Opposes Backdoor Gun Ban Gardner voted to repeal an Obama-era scheme that forced Social Security recipients to choose between their benefits and their Second Amendment right to possess a firearm.
Volunteer with Frontlines
NRA-ILA FrontLines is comprised of NRA-ILA's most dedicated volunteers, who work vigorously at the local, state, and federal levels to defend our Second Amendment rights. FrontLines members work with NRA-ILA, and especially with their NRA-ILA FrontLines Activist Leader (FAL), to advance ILA's legislative and political agendas. Your FAL is a local NRA member who has volunteered to act as the liaison between NRA members and gun owners and various pro-gun campaigns seeking volunteer support. Your EVC also works with local Second Amendment supporters to promote NRA-ILA's legislative agenda.

WHAT THE GRADES MEAN ×
The NRA-PVF is non-partisan in issuing its candidate grades and endorsements. Our decisions are not based on a candidate's party affiliation, but rather on his or her record on Second Amendment issues. The NRA is a single issue organization. The only issues on which we evaluate candidates seeking elected office are gun-related issues.
Indicates an NRA Endorsed Candidate.
A legislator with not only an excellent voting record on all critical NRA issues, but who has also made a vigorous effort to promote and defend the Second Amendment.
Solidly pro-gun candidate. A candidate who has supported NRA positions on key votes in elective office or a candidate with a demonstrated record of support on Second Amendment issues.
A pro-gun candidate whose rating is based solely on the candidate's responses to the NRA-PVF Candidate Questionnaire and who does not have a voting record on Second Amendment issues.
A generally pro-gun candidate. However, a "B" candidate may have opposed some pro-gun reform or supported some restrictive legislation in the past.
Not necessarily a passing grade. A candidate with a mixed record or positions on gun related issues, who may oppose some pro-gun positions or support some restrictive legislation.
An anti-gun candidate who usually supports restrictive gun control legislation and opposes pro-gun reforms. Regardless of public statements, can usually be counted on to vote wrong on key issues.
True enemy of gun owners' rights. A consistent anti-gun candidate who always opposes gun owners' rights and/or actively leads anti-gun legislative efforts, or sponsors anti-gun legislation.
Refused to answer the NRA-PVF candidate questionnaire or a candidate who has made contradictory statements or taken positions that are inconsistent with the candidate's answers to the NRA-PVF candidate questionnaire or previous record. A rating of "?" often indicates indifference, if not outright hostility, to gun owners' and sportsmen's rights.
