The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Scott Jones for U.S. House of Representatives in the 7th Congressional District. Scott has a proven pro-Second Amendment record and is committed to protecting your gun rights! 

• Supports Right-to-Carry – Scott supports Concealed Carry Reciprocity legislation, which would ensure that law-abiding Americans with the legal right to carry concealed would be able to carry their firearm for self-defense in any other state.
• Opposes Gun Control – Scott opposes the Obama/Bloomberg/Clinton agenda of banning guns, ammunition, magazines, and creating a so-called “universal” background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms which, according to the Justice Department, is only enforceable through federal gun registration. 
• Opposes Operation Choke Point – Scott supports legislation that prohibits the Obama Administration from executing an abusive practice in which the Department of Justice intimidates banks into refusing or severing financial services to legally operated ammunition and firearms dealers. 
• Supports America’s Hunting Heritage – Scott supports the Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreation Enhancement Act that would benefit sportsmen throughout California and the country.
• Opposes a Federal Gun Database – Scott opposes the ATF circumventing the will of Congress by centralizing records of thousands of Americans’ long gun purchases.
• Opposes Ammo Ban – Scott opposes the Obama Administration’s flagrant attempt to ban commonly used ammunition for the most popular rifle in America.
• Supports Gun Shows – Scott opposes legislation that would effectively eliminate gun shows.
• Opposes Washington D.C.’s Gun Ban – Scott supports legislation to repeal Washington D.C.’s draconian gun control laws and restore the right of self-defense to law-abiding individuals in our nation’s capital.
• Opposes Gun Confiscation – Scott opposes gun confiscation during states of emergency, as happened after Hurricane Katrina.

In contrast, his opponent, Ami Bera, has received an “F” rating from NRA-PVF. He opposes your Second Amendment rights and supports the Obama/Bloomberg/Clinton gun control agenda of banning guns, ammunition and magazines.
