The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Scott Tipton for U.S. House of Representatives in the 3rd Congressional District. Scott has a proven pro-Second Amendment record and is committed to protecting your gun rights! 

• Supports Right-to-Carry – Scott cosponsored and voted for the National Right to Carry Reciprocity Act, legislation that would ensure that law-abiding Americans with valid concealed handgun permits would be able to carry a concealed handgun in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry.
• Opposes Gun Control – Scott opposes the Obama/Bloomberg/Clinton agenda of banning guns, ammunition, magazines, and creating a so-called “universal” background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms which, according to the Justice Department, is only enforceable through federal gun registration.
• Opposes Operation Choke Point – Scott voted for legislation that prohibits the Obama Administration from executing an abusive practice in which the Department of Justice intimidates banks into refusing or severing financial services to legally operated ammunition and firearms dealers. 
• Supports America’s Hunting Heritage – Scott voted for the Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreation Enhancement Act that would benefit sportsmen throughout Colorado and the country.
• Opposes a Federal Gun Database – Scott voted to prevent ATF from circumventing the will of Congress by centralizing records of thousands of Americans’ long gun purchases.
• Opposes Ammo Ban – Scott signed a letter to the Obama Administration opposing its flagrant attempt to ban commonly used ammunition for the most popular rifle in America.
• Supports Gun Shows – Scott opposes legislation that would effectively eliminate gun shows.
• Opposes Backdoor Gun Ban – Scott opposes any attempt by the Obama Administration to deny millions of Social Security recipients their Second Amendment rights without due process.
• Holder Contempt Vote – Scott voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress on both criminal and civil charges for the flawed and tragic Fast and Furious scandal.

In contrast, his opponent, Gail Schwartz, has received an “F” rating from NRA-PVF. She opposes your Second Amendment rights and supports the Obama/Bloomberg/Clinton gun control agenda of banning guns, ammunition and magazines.
