The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Bruce Westerman for U.S. House of Representatives in the Republican Primary in Arkansas’ 4^th District. Bruce has a proven record of leadership on our Second Amendment freedoms in the U.S. House of Representatives. 

He is a champion for law-abiding gun owners and is the only candidate in this race who has earned the NRA-PVF endorsement and “A” rating:

• Supports Right-to-Carry –Bruce cosponsored and voted for the strongest Concealed Carry Reciprocity legislation ever to come before the U.S. Congress, which ensures that the nearly 20 million law-abiding Americans who can carry a concealed firearm in their home state are able to do so in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry.
• Opposes the Schumer/Pelosi/Bloomberg Gun Control Agenda – Bruce strongly opposes the Schumer/Pelosi/Bloomberg agenda of banning guns, ammunition, magazines, and creating a so-called “universal” background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms which, according to the Justice Department, is only enforceable through federal firearms registration.
• Opposes Operation Choke Point – Bruce voted for legislation to end an abusive Obama-era program, known as Operation Choke Point, in which the Department of Justice intimidates banks into refusing or severing financial services to legally-operated ammunition and firearms dealers. 
• Supports America’s Hunting Heritage – Bruce voted for the Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreation Enhancement Act, a bill that would benefit sportsmen throughout Arkansas and the country.
• Opposes Backdoor Gun Ban – Bruce cosponsored and voted for legislation to strike down an Obama-era regulation that would have stripped Social Security recipients of their Second Amendment rights without due process.
• Supports Veterans’ Second Amendment Rights – Bruce voted for legislation that would protect veterans’ Second Amendment rights.
• Opposes the U.N. Gun Ban Treaty –Bruce opposes any international treaty by the United Nations or any other global organization that would impose restrictions on American gun owners. He signed a letter opposing the Obama administration's signing of the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.
• Opposes Semi-auto Ban –Bruce opposes any ban on commonly owned semi-automatic firearms used for hunting, recreational shooting and self-defense.
• Supports Lawful Transport of Firearms and Ammunition – Bruce voted for legislation that would uphold protections for the interstate transportation of firearms and ammunition.

Bruce Westerman is the only candidate in this election who will continue to stand strong against the Bloomberg/Schumer/Pelosi gun control agenda.
