Dear Iowa NRA Member:

Please vote Mariannette Miller-Meeks for the U.S. House of Representatives on or before Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Requested absentee ballots have been mailed and in-person absentee voting is underway.

The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Mariannette Miller-Meeks for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 2^nd Congressional District of Iowa. Mariannette is a staunch defender of the Second Amendment and has earned your vote by protecting your fundamental right to self-defense from those who attempt to eradicate it!

For the following reasons, Mariannette Miller-Meeks has received our endorsement and “A” rating:

• Supports Right-to-Carry – Supports Concealed Carry Reciprocity legislation, because we are all safer when the nearly 20 million law-abiding Americans who can carry a concealed firearm in their home state are able to do so in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry.
• Opposes Government Bans and Confiscation – Opposes the Pelosi/Biden/Bloomberg plan to ban lawfully-owned semi-automatic firearms, magazines and ammunition commonly used for self-defense. 
• Opposes Criminalizing Private Transfers – Opposes a so-called “universal” background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms, which is only enforceable through federal firearms registration.
• Supports Veterans’ Second Amendment Rights – Supports legislation that would protect veterans’ Second Amendment rights.
• Supports America's Hunting Heritage – Supports expanding access for hunting and shooting, benefitting sportsmen throughout Iowa and the country.

In contrast, Mariannette’s opponent, Rita Hart, has received the worst possible rating, an “F”, from NRA-PVF for her staunch support of fanatical gun control. A vote for Hart is a vote to annihilate the Second Amendment and eradicate your right to self-defense!

Again, please defend freedom by voting Mariannette Miller-Meeks for U.S. House on or before Tuesday, November 3^rd, and encourage your family, friends and fellow gun owners to do the same!
