For the following reasons, Bill Cassidy has received our endorsement and “A” rating:

• Supports Pro-Gun Judges – Supports nominees for the U.S. Supreme Court and the federal bench that respect and value the Second Amendment.
• Supports Right-to-Carry – Voted for Concealed Carry Reciprocity legislation, because we are all safer when the nearly 20 million law-abiding Americans who can carry a concealed firearm in their home state are able to do so in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry.
• Opposes Government Bans and Confiscation – Opposes the Schumer/Biden/Bloomberg plan to ban lawfully-owned semi-automatic firearms, magazines and ammunition commonly used for self-defense. 
• Opposes Criminalizing Private Transfers – Voted against a so-called “universal” background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms, which is only enforceable through federal firearms registration.
• Supports Veterans’ Second Amendment Rights – Voted for legislation that would protect veterans’ Second Amendment rights.
• Supports Louisiana Sportsmen – Voted to expand access for hunting and shooting, benefitting sportsmen throughout Louisiana and the country.
