The NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Mike Rounds for U.S. Senate. Mike is a strong defender of the Second Amendment and will protect your fundamental right to self-defense from those who attempt to eradicate it!

For the following reasons, Mike Rounds has received our endorsement and “A+” rating:

• Supports Pro-Gun Judges – Votes for judges who respect and value freedom and the Second Amendment, including Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett.
• Supports Right-to-Carry – Supports Concealed Carry Reciprocity legislation, which would ensure that the nearly 20 million law-abiding Americans who can carry a concealed firearm in their home state are able to do so in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry.
• Supports America's Hunting Heritage – Voted for legislation to expand access for hunting and recreational shooting, benefiting sportsmen throughout South Dakota and the country.
• Opposes Semi-Auto Ban – Strongly opposes Senator Dianne Feinstein’s failed semi-auto ban that would ban commonly owned semi-automatic firearms used for hunting, recreational shooting and self-defense.
• Opposes Criminalizing Private Transfers – Voted against the Schumer/Biden/Bloomberg so-called “universal” background check system that would criminalize the private transfer of firearms, which is only enforceable through federal firearms registration.
• Opposes Government Blacklists – Voted against legislation denying persons on secret government lists their Second Amendment right to purchase or own a firearm without due process.
• Opposes Backdoor Gun Ban – Voted to repeal an Obama-era scheme that forced Social Security recipients to choose between their benefits and their Second Amendment right to possess a firearm.

In contrast, Mike’s opponent, Dan Ahlers, has received a “D”, from NRA-PVF for his staunch support of fanatical gun control. A vote for Ahlers is a vote to annihilate the Second Amendment and eradicate your right to self-defense!
