Fairfax, Va. -- The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is pleased to endorse State Representative Tom Knollman (R-55) for re-election in Indiana's Republican Primary on May 4th.

"Representative Tom Knollman is the gun owners' choice for Indiana's 55th House District," said Chris W. Cox, chairman of NRA-PVF. "An NRA Life Member himself, Tom Knollman is a rock-solid supporter of the Second Amendment and will stand up for the rights of gun owners and all freedom-loving Hoosiers."

Throughout his tenure in the Indiana State House, Tom Knollman has maintained an uncompromising commitment to the Second Amendment, both in Indiana and around the country. In 2009, Rep. Knollman participated as a signatory in two pro-gun amicus briefs supporting the McDonald v. Chicago lawsuit to overturn Chicago's gun ban before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Most recently, Rep. Knollman supported legislation closing access to Indiana's concealed carry permit database, preventing local governments from confiscating firearms from law-abiding citizens during states of emergency and enacting parking lot protections for gun-owning Hoosier employees.

Rep. Tom Knollman's steadfast support for individual gun ownership rights earned him an "A+" rating and endorsement by NRA-PVF.

"It's up to gun owners to vote for freedom on May 4th," concluded Cox. "I urge gun owners, hunters and sportsmen in Indiana's 55th District to re-elect Tom Knollman."

Chris W. Cox is NRA's chief lobbyist. He also serves as chairman of NRA-PVF. The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund is responsible for political candidate rankings. These are based on candidate voting records, public statements and responses to NRA-PVF questionnaires.
