Fairfax, Va. - The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is endorsing Mike Beebe for re-election in Arkansas' gubernatorial race on November 2nd.
"The NRA-PVF is endorsing Mike Beebe because he has supported the Second Amendment freedoms of law-abiding Arkansas gun owners," said Chris W. Cox, chairman of NRA-PVF. "Gun owners and hunters in Arkansas can count on Mike to protect their gun rights as he has for the past four years."
During his time as Governor, Beebe signed important pro-gun legislation into law, including: a bill to help clarify Arkansas' right-to-carry reciprocity; a bill to add safeguards to protect the privacy of right-to-carry permit holders; and a Castle Doctrine bill to strengthen the rights of law-abiding citizens when they use a firearm for personal protection while in the home. Prior to that, as a state senator, Beebe voted numerous times in support of NRA-backed legislation.
Beebe's support for the Second Amendment has earned him an "A" rating and the endorsement of the NRA-PVF.
"On November 2nd, I urge all Arkansas NRA members, hunters and gun owners to vote Mike Beebe for Governor," Cox concluded.
