NRA-PVF Endorses State Representative Dale Grubb for Re-Election in Indiana’s 42nd House District

Tuesday, September 28, 2010

Fairfax, Va.-- The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is endorsing Rep. Dale Grubb (D-42) for re-election to the Indiana House of Representatives this November.

Chris W. Cox, chairman of the NRA-PVF stated, "The NRA-PVF is endorsing Dale Grubb because he is a staunch defender of the Second Amendment freedoms of law-abiding Hoosier gun owners, and his pro-gun leadership in the Indiana State House is invaluable."

Throughout his tenure in the Indiana House of Representatives, Dale Grubb has consistently worked to advance our right to keep and bear arms, including:  protecting law-abiding firearm owners from being held liable if their firearms are stolen and later used in a crime; establishing Indiana's Lifetime Concealed Firearm Permit - the first of its kind in the United States; and signing a pro-gun "friend of the court" brief in McDonald v. Chicago, supporting the position that the Second Amendment guarantees a fundamental right that protects all Americans.

As House Democrat Caucus Chairman, Rep. Grubb has worked tirelessly to advance pro-gun legislation from committee hearings to final passage.  He played an integral role in securing Indiana's new laws preventing state and local gun bans and confiscations during states of emergency; prohibiting lawful employees from wrongful termination for locking a firearm in their personal vehicles while at work; and protecting the privacy rights of concealed gun permit holders.

"Dale Grubb's commitment to preserving our Second Amendment freedoms and hunting heritage has again earned him an A+ rating and NRA-PVF endorsement," concluded Cox. "We ask all gun owners in Indiana's 42d House District to re-elect Dale Grubb on November 2."
