NRA-PVF Endorses State Representative Tom Knollman for Re-Election in Indiana’s 55th House District

Wednesday, September 29, 2010

Fairfax, Va. - The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is endorsing State Representative Tom Knollman (R-55) for re-election this November.

"Tom Knollman is the gun owners' and hunters' choice in this race," said Chris W. Cox, chairman of NRA-PVF. "We are pleased to endorse Tom for another term because we know he will continue to protect the rights of all law-abiding gun owners in the Hoosier State."

Throughout his tenure in the State House of Representatives, Tom Knollman has consistently supported the Second Amendment, including: establishing a hunter apprentice license; signing two pro-gun "friend of the court" briefs in McDonald v. Chicago, supporting the position that the Second Amendment guarantees a fundamental right that protects all Americans;  and voting for Indiana's new Gun Permit Privacy Act and the Emergency Powers and Parking Lot laws, which protect citizens against firearm confiscations during states of emergency and wrongful termination by their employers for locking a firearm in their personal vehicle while at work.

Representative Knollman's dedication to preserving our Second Amendment rights and hunting heritage has earned him an "A" rating and endorsement from the NRA-PVF.

"We ask all Indiana gun-owners and hunters in the 55th House District to re-elect Representative Tom Knollman on November 2", concluded Cox.
