Fairfax, Va. – On behalf of our five million members across the country, the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is proud to endorse Mike McFadden for United States Senate in Minnesota.
Based on his support of and commitment to the Second Amendment, McFadden has earned an “AQ” rating from the NRA in the November 4, 2014 election. An “AQ” is reserved for a pro-gun candidate whose rating is based on pro-gun responses to the NRA-PVF Candidate Questionnaire and is the highest rating a candidate can receive without a voting record on Second Amendment issues.
“Mike McFadden strongly believes in protecting the rights of law-abiding Americans who own firearms for hunting, personal protection, or any other lawful purpose,” said Chris W. Cox. “We need Mike in the U.S. Senate to fight President Obama and elitist billionaires like Michael Bloomberg who are doing everything they can to dismantle the Second Amendment.”
McFadden has stated his strong opposition for any anti-gun nominees for the U.S. Supreme Court, such as Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. He also will oppose any treaty by the United Nations or any other global organization that would impose restrictions on American gun owners. McFadden has also stated he strongly opposes the Obama-Bloomberg gun control agenda.
“We can count on Mike McFadden to stand up for our constitutional freedoms in the U.S. Senate. The NRA encourages all gun owners and sportsmen in Minnesota to vote Mike McFadden for U.S. Senate on November 4,” concluded Cox.
Established in 1871, the National Rifle Association is America's oldest civil rights and sportsmen's group. More than five million members strong, NRA continues to uphold the Second Amendment and advocates enforcement of existing laws against violent offenders to reduce crime. The Association remains the nation's leader in firearm education and training for law-abiding gun owners, law enforcement and the armed services.
