NRA Endorses Brnovich for Attorney General in Arizona

Fairfax, Va. – On behalf of our five million members across the country, the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is proud to endorse Mark Brnovich for Attorney General in Arizona.

Based on his support of and commitment to the Second Amendment, Brnovich has received an "A-" rating from the NRA-PVF in the 2014 general election.  His rating reflects his support of Second Amendment issues and his responses to NRA-PVF's candidate questionnaire.  His opponent, Felecia Rotellini, refused to answer the NRA-PVF questionnaire, often an indication of indifference, if not outright hostility, to issues of importance to law-abiding gun owners and sportsmen.

"Mark Brnovich has stated his strong desire to fight for our Second Amendment freedoms as Attorney General," said Chris W. Cox, chairman of the NRA-PVF.  "The Grand Canyon State needs and deserves an Attorney General who will enforce the laws on the books and stand up to the gun control lobby that wants to eliminate the constitutional rights of law-abiding Americans."

Brnovich has clearly stated he will protect Arizona's unique hunting heritage as a valuable tool for wildlife management and conservation. He has also committed to fighting expanded licensing and registration schemes and so-called "universal background checks."

"We can count on Mark Brnovich to stand up for our constitutional freedoms in Arizona," added Cox.  "On behalf of the NRA's five million members, I want to thank Mark Brnovich for his stated support of the Second Amendment and urge all NRA members, gun owners and sportsmen in Arizona to vote Mark Brnovich for Attorney General on November 4."

Established in 1871, the National Rifle Association is America's oldest civil rights and sportsmen's group. More than five million members strong, NRA continues to uphold the Second Amendment and advocates enforcement of existing laws against violent offenders to reduce crime. The Association remains the nation's leader in firearm education and training for law-abiding gun owners, law enforcement and the armed services.
