Fairfax, Va. -- The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is endorsing David Harmer for election to the U.S. House of Representatives in California's 11th Congressional District.
"The NRA-PVF supports David Harmer because we know he will be a staunch defender of the Second Amendment freedoms of law-abiding gun owners, hunters and sportsmen in California and across America," said Chris W. Cox, chairman of the NRA-PVF.
Harmer supports national right-to-carry reciprocity and efforts to reform the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. He is also in favor of repealing the D.C. gun ban and restoring the right of self-defense to law-abiding residents of our nation's capital. Additionally, Harmer authored Securing A Free State: Why The Second Amendment Matters. The book was published in the Brigham Young University Law Review and aided in the legal argument in the historic Heller case, which held the Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep and bear arms.
David Harmer's commitment to preserving our right to keep and bear arms and his contributions as a Second Amendment scholar have earned him an "A" rating and the endorsement of the NRA-PVF.
"On November 2nd, I urge all California NRA Members and gun owners in the 11th District to vote David Harmer for Congress," Cox concluded.
