NRA-PVF Endorses Andy Vidak for U.S. House of Representatives in California’s 20th Congressional District

Wednesday, September 29, 2010

Fairfax, Va.-- The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is endorsing Andy Vidak for election to the U.S. House of Representatives for California's 20th Congressional District this November.

"Andy Vidak will be a strong defender of the Second Amendment freedoms of law-abiding gun owners, hunters and sportsmen in California," said Chris W. Cox, chairman of NRA-PVF. "Vidak has earned an 'AQ' rating and endorsement from the NRA-PVF."

Vidak supports national right-to-carry reciprocity, right-to-carry permit holder confidentiality and efforts to reform the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.  He also believes sportsmen should have access to federally owned or administered lands for hunting, fishing, trapping and recreational shooting. He will fight against ongoing efforts to dismantle our Second Amendment by anti-gun politicians.

"Andy Vidak supports our constitutional freedoms," Cox continued. "We ask all gun owners and hunters in California's 20th District to vote Andy Vidak for Congress on November 2."

Established in 1871, the National Rifle Association is America's oldest civil rights and sportsmen's group. More than five million members strong, NRA continues to uphold the Second Amendment and advocates enforcement of existing laws against violent offenders to reduce crime. The Association remains the nation's leader in firearm education and training for law-abiding gun owners, law enforcement and the armed services.
