NRA Endorses John Rafferty, Jr. in Pennsylvania Attorney General Race

FAIRFAX, Va- The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) announced its endorsement of John Rafferty, Jr. for attorney general in the 2016 Pennsylvania General Election.

“John Rafferty, Jr. has a proven record of support for the Second Amendment and the rights of law-abiding citizens,” said Chris W. Cox, chairman, NRA-PVF. “It is critical that Pennsylvania elects an attorney general who is willing to stand up to the extreme anti-gun agenda that’s being pushed by political elites like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Michael Bloomberg.”

Senator Rafferty has received an “A-” rating and endorsement for his pro-Second Amendment positions and opposition to gun control. His notable actions include support of common sense “Castle Doctrine” legislation and efforts to strengthen Pennsylvania’s statewide preemption law.

“The NRA urges all Pennsylvania gun owners and sportsmen to vote John Rafferty, Jr. for attorney general this November,” concluded Cox.
