Amanda Curtis, candidate for U.S. Senate from Montana, earns “F” rating from NRA

Friday, September 26, 2014

"Today marks the first time in NRA-PVF history that a Montana candidate for U.S. Senate has earned an “F”-- a grade only given to consistent anti-gun candidates who oppose gun-owners’ rights and our constitutional freedoms.

From standing with Michael Bloomberg's gun control agenda to voting repeatedly against Montanans' Right to Keep and Bear Arms, Amanda Curtis has embraced an extreme, anti-Second Amendment agenda that stands as a direct threat to Montana's heritage and constitutional rights. Fortunately, Montanans have a better choice in November and can count on Steve Daines to continue to promote and defend the Second Amendment."

Established in 1871, the National Rifle Association is America's oldest civil rights and sportsmen's group. More than five million members strong, NRA continues to uphold the Second Amendment and advocates enforcement of existing laws against violent offenders to reduce crime. The Association remains the nation's leader in firearm education and training for law-abiding gun owners, law enforcement and the armed services.
