NRA-PVF Endorses and Issues “A+” Rating to Tom Tiffany for Wisconsin Governor
FAIRFAX, VA — The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) today announced its endorsement and highest “A+” rating for U.S. Representative Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin in the 2026 Wisconsin gubernatorial primary election.
“Tom Tiffany is a proven champion for the Second Amendment and the rights of law-abiding Wisconsin gun owners and sportsmen,” said John Commerford, NRA-PVF Chairman. “As a member of Congress, he has consistently fought to protect our constitutional freedoms and advance legislation that benefits responsible gun owners across the state and the nation. The NRA proudly endorses Tom Tiffany for Governor, and we urge every Wisconsin voter who values their right to keep and bear arms to stand with him.”
Throughout his tenure in Congress, Representative Tiffany has demonstrated strong leadership on Second Amendment issues by cosponsoring Right-to-Carry reciprocity legislation that would allow millions of law-abiding Americans to carry concealed firearms across state lines. He voted for the Veterans 2nd Amendment Protection Act to prevent the Department of Veterans Affairs from arbitrarily stripping veterans of their firearm rights, and he supported eliminating the burdensome $200 NFA excise tax on suppressors and certain firearms—delivering the first major tax reduction for NRA members and gun owners in decades. He has also voted to expand hunters’ rights by supporting measures that ensure greater access and state control of wildlife management.
These actions reflect Representative Tiffany’s clear commitment to protecting and expanding the rights of responsible citizens. As Governor, the people of Wisconsin can count on Tom Tiffany to continue that fight by standing firm against restrictive gun control measures and vetoing any attempts to ban lawfully owned firearms, ammunition, or magazines.
