Fairfax, Va. – The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) announces its endorsement of Chuck Fleischmann for U.S. House of Representatives in Tennessee’s 3rd District in the August 2nd primary election.
"Chuck Fleischmann is committed to protecting the Right to Keep and Bear Arms guaranteed to all Americans," said Chris W. Cox, chairman of NRA-PVF. "His unwavering dedication and voting record have earned him an "A" rating from the NRA-PVF, and we proudly endorse him for re-election in Tennessee’s 3rd District."
During his time in Congress, Fleischmann voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress for his defiance of the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform’s subpoena for documents in the deadly Fast and Furious scandal. He also cosponsored and voted for H.R. 822, The National Right to Carry Reciprocity Act, which would ensure that law-abiding Americans with valid concealed handgun permits are able to carry a concealed handgun in any other state that does not prohibit concealed carry.
“There are ongoing efforts to undermine the Second Amendment, so we need Members of Congress like Chuck Fleischmann to defend our rights. We encourage all NRA members, gun owners, and sportsmen in Tennessee’s 3rd District to vote Chuck Fleischmann for U.S. House of Representatives in the August 2nd primary election,” concluded Cox.
